During these activities, dirt, bacteria, and germs can easily accumulate under fingernails. With general handwashing, these hard-to-reach areas are missed. Using a nail scrubbing brush can also be fun for children.

Keeping your little one’s nails short and clean is super important. Use a kids finger nailbrush to clean the dirt from under their nails and trim them often using our Baby Nails Wearable Baby Nail File or our Baby Nails Baby Scissors (sold separately). Use the boar hair side for cleaning the nails of kids and babies or for light soiling and the sisal side to tackle the tougher jobs. You may notice that the wooden nail brush loses a few bristles when you first use it. Don't worry that's normal!

The bristles on the brush help to gently remove dirt from under the nails and between the fingers (and toes if needed). It is also great for exfoliation. It can be used to remove dead skin cells and make the hands (and feet) look and feel softer.

After each use, rinse under water to remove soap and dirt. Gently shake off any excess water and place the nail brush, bristles down on a dry surface.

Although beechwood is more resistant to cracking and splitting please note this is a natural product and overtime (with use) it may crack or change colour. It will eventually need replacing. If you take care of it, it will last longer!
